The client conceptualized the idea from her own experiences of receiving a mishmash of gifts - random boxes of silver junk, four bottles of wine, a couple of identical baby prams and so on all the while thinking how nice it would be to get the latest iPhone, one bottle of Dom Perignon and a baby walker instead of the usual stuff. That's how Wishberry was created to make gifting easy for everyone's wedding, birthday and even baby showers.
We conducted tons of research to understand user preferences. The team tied up with some of the world's leading stores and brands to create a very thorough catalogue. We built a quick search system and a highly customized system that remembers users preferences, suggests gift ideas based on age, sex, location and past purchase history.
Wishberry received the Wharton award for best new startup in 2011.

Its Fulfillment Systems taken to the extreme.
